Felix Vermeirsch wins the final of Concours de Musique Breughel Brussels

March 20th 2016:
Felix Vermeirsch won  the first prize at the final of the prestigious Concours de Musique  Breughel in Flagey Studio 4 Brussels. This prize, a cello from the collection Francesco Gabeni, is given by “Atelier de lutherie FaBien Gram”. Felix  played the first and the second mouvement of the famous celloconcerto by Elgar and the secound mouvement of the sonate for cello and piano by Shostakovich. Felix was accompagnied by his sister pianist Fauve Vermeirsch. He was the youngest finalist of  category C. The other finalists were Xynyi Tian, Alexandra Arba and Anett Csikos.
